Direct or indirect CO (outside) line access · Outside line can be accessed directly by dialing the number directly or it can be accessed indirect by first dialing '9'. 2. Automated attendant · Caller will listen to a prerecorded message (OGM about 10 seconds in length) when the automated attendant is on and then connects the call to the appropriate extension. 3. Attendant call selection (incoming call route selection) · Incoming call will be transferred automatically to a designated extension on duty/operator when the automated attendant is off. 4. Call hold, transfer · Incoming calls can be put on hold and transferred from any extension without any limit even on misdials. 5. Caller ID (FSK/DTMF/Bellcore) · The PBX-208I is capable of receiving FSK/DTMF (Bellcore standard) caller id sent from local telephone company. The telephones must have DTMF caller id detection capabilities and the service must be subscribed. 6. Three-way conferencing · Incoming calls can be connected with engaged extensions for three-way conference calls. 7. Intercom call · Make internal calls from any extension. 8. Facsimile connection · Any extension can receive facsimiles. 9. Incoming call alert · Engaged extension will receive a call waiting tone alerting the party when there is an incoming call. 10. Toll restriction scheme · Long distance dialing can be disabled on any extension. 11. Secretary assisted dialing · A secretary can make outgoing calls from any extension and then transfer the call to another extension. Once the call is connected to the second extension; the secretary can hang-up or remain connected for three-way conferencing. 12. Limit CO line call duration · External calls can be disconnected at a preset time limit. 13. External call authorization with password protection · Permit user to make external call with authorized password. 14. Power failure tolerant · During a power failure extension #1 connects direct to the outside line by default. 15. Do not disturb · Extension with 'do not disturb' turned on will not ring and the call will be transferred to another extension.16. No answer under auto-attendant mode · Incoming calls can either be transferred to the operator or disconnected.17.
