We have about a hundred of these exact units. We've tested each and every one of them by charging them for four hours and then hooking them up to a computer and monitor to see if they will hold a charge for at least five minutes. The units that did not pass this test where thrown out. Five minutes is typically more than enough time to save your work and properly shut down your computer when the power suddenly goes out.
