At only 5 inches square, they outperform much larger units and are the best and most consistently performing design that I’ve researched. The screen capture from my wireless card status window shown below, reflects the performance that I’m getting using one of these attached to a wireless router, and another one attached to my computer. The router is over 600 ft from my home, in my parents house. I have attained solid connections using only one antenna connected to the computer, from routers using their stock antennas from over 300 ft away. Used as a feed, mounted to an old Direct TV dish gains of over 30 db are common, and two such assemblies can achieve connections at distances of well over 8-1/2 miles when properly aimed with clear terrain.
